Hello! Thought I would try and do something different. I have ideas all week every week that I know I cant make but would love to. So I though make a model and give it out for free! Help you and get the ideas into the world! Even if its not by my hands! Getting more quality things that will last a lifetime! So just right off the bat if you know of any creatives that would like these projects or maybe even some one that would like to have this made, please share this with them!

Well recently there has been a ton of hail here in Colorado! And driving around I have noticed these nice little garden beds! But they are all covered in nets! My assumption is that they are to prevent hail from destroying all the hard work the gardener has put in! Because all it would take is one good storm and then months worth of growth would be gone! So the net idea is a great way to protect it! But it looks cheep, it is cheap, and I know it would only help against a small storm. So I have created a simple garden bed with a steel roof! The tin could be replaced! And the steel frame really changes the look of your garden with a nice clean modern look!

Its a simple 7 foot by 3 foot plot. With a 12 inch raise off the ground. the roof is 5.5 feet tall in the front and 4.5 feet in the back. So this is great for vegetables, and flowers! If you are looking to grow corn or sun flowers this might not be such a good idea. The project can easily be put together with a stick welder or a mig machine for all you DIY guys! The cutting and materials are pretty straight forward as well! So hope this sparks some ideas for you! And gets you out in the shop working with friends or family! The drawings are at the very bottom of the page.
